A recent review published by Tekniikka & Talous highlighted Finland’s ten largest wind farms by nominal capacity. For Ampner, the article served as a powerful reminder of how deeply our expertise is embedded in the development of modern Finnish wind power.
Ampner has contributed to every TOP10 wind farm listed in the article. Out of a broader set of 23 major projects mentioned, Ampner has participated in 20, delivering full VJV modelling, design services, or other technical support.
Our involvement spans major wind power projects such as Lestijärvi, Mutkalampi, Pjelax, Siikajoki, Lappfjärd, Piiparinmäki, Karhunnevankangas, Pahkakoski, Kalistanneva, Sarvisuo, Matkussaari, Karahka, Niinimäki, Louhukangas, Metsälamminkangas, Isoneva, Murtotuuli, Paskoonharju, Storbötet and Välikangas.
These projects represent collaboration with key industry players including Vestas, Neoen, Ilmatar, Suvic, VEO, OX2, KSBR and EPV.
Ampner’s scope in projects ranges from comprehensive PSCAD and PSS/E modeling to full VJV deliveries, design tasks, as well as individual calculations and testing.
A testament to Ampner’s leadership in the field
The Tekniikka & Talous article underlines the scale and importance of Finland’s wind power expansion. Our team recognised nearly the entire list of projects as our own references – a clear reflection of the breadth of expertise and the long-term impact of our work in the Finnish energy sector.
We take great pride in supporting Finland’s transition toward cleaner energy and enabling the deployment of increasingly large-scale renewable energy systems.
